We are excited to introduce two new account types on Photoset — Printer and Assistant logins. Both are designed to let you bring your team into the platform without sharing your financial information or account credentials.

Printer Accounts

If you work with an external print lab or a dedicated in-house printer, you can now give them their own Photoset login. Printers register for their own account on Photoset and are then linked to one or more photographers by the photographer.

Once linked, a printer can log in and see all the orders that have come in for that photographer. They have access to print batches and tick sheets, making it easy to manage and track what needs to be printed and what has been completed — without any of the financial details.

Assistant Accounts

If you have an assistant or a second shooter who helps you manage your shoots and galleries, the Assistant account type is built for that. The photographer links an assistant by their email address, and from that point the assistant has access to the full Photoset feature set — creating and editing shoots, managing galleries, viewing orders, and more.

The key distinction is that assistants have no visibility into your financials. Your revenue, payouts, and banking details remain private to you as the account owner.

Managing Linked Accounts

Both printers and assistants are managed from the Linked Accounts page in your photographer dashboard. To link someone, simply click Link Account, enter their email address, and confirm. If the person does not yet have a Photoset account they will need to register first. You can unlink any account at any time from the same page.
